September is here and we're kicking off the fall with an instant gratification style knit-along. Yesterday we started our Cane Bay Wrap KAL, which takes only two skeins of Blue Sky Alpacas Extra and knit up fast on size US 10.5 needles. It's not too late to join in!

We've been having so much fun working on projects together. We just finished our June/July knit-along, which was the Twinleaf Shawl in Fibre Co Meadow.
The shawls came out beautifully. The sizing is generous, but the yarn is so light! The shawls weigh almost nothing. Perfect for this warm weather!
Next up, is the Adrift in either lace or fingering weight yarn. We just cast on yesterday, so there's still time to join in!
The Salem Arts Festival is next weekend, from June 5th to June 7th. Our community came together to create a piece for the Front Yard Street Art installation. We gathered our scraps, and with a combination of crochet, knitting, sewing and fabric scraps, we created our own little world.
We can't wait to see the entire project assembled!
We have a trunk show in the shop from Blue Sky Alpacas, showcasing their organic cotton yarns in two weights: Blue Sky Alpacas Worsted Cotton (worsted) and Blue Sky Alpacas Skinny Cotton (DK).
We had a fun yarn tasting, where folks got to play with the yarn and try on sample garments. If you missed the tasting, don't worry, we still have the yarn and samples through May 19th!
