Two-Handed Fair Isle: The Seasons Hat (Pattern Included)

45.00

Date: Tuesday, November 14th, from 7 pm to 9 pm

Join Louise for this fun class! Using the Seasons Hat pattern, Louise will teach you how to knit stranded colorwork (also know as Fair Isle) by carrying one color in each hand. She will talk about proper tension and "floats" in the back of your work.

Materials: Fingering weight yarns in the following colors: 275 yards of Main Color. Pick 2-4 contrast colors. Suggested Yarn: Brooklyn Tweed Loft

One you sign up for class, we will email you a copy of the pattern. Prior to class, please knit the ribbing and the plain stockinette section, so the class time can be used to focus on the colorwork techniques. If you have any questions, give us a call at 978-745-9276.

This is an intermediate class. You must be comfortable knitting in the round and must have made at least one basic hat. We will not be covering hat shaping in this class, but rather focusing on the Fair Isle technique.
