Join guest teacher Elise of The Comptoir for this super fun embroidery workshop! You’ll learn basic embroidery stitches and leave with your very own customized garment, accessory, or home decor!

This introductory embroidery workshop is perfect for beginners. It covers the basics, insider tips, and practical application, making sure students are fully equipped to go on and apply monograms and more to their own pieces and develop their own unique style.

You can work on your own design or pick a pre-made design! Bring something you want to embellish: A denim jacket, a cap, a shirt, a pair of jeans, a tea towel, a blanket, a sheet of paper, a vintage picture, a postcard, or just a piece of fabric and we are going to create a unique embellishment for it. For beginners, it’s better to start with a non elastic fabric, such as cotton.

Elise will provide embroidery hoops, floss and needle for all students.
